Low Carb Milk Chocolate Mousse This thick chocolate mousse is exactly what the name implies: super simple and low carb.

It's perfect for diabetics and others who want to limit their carb intake.

It's gluten-free so it's also great for those who are gluten intolerant or want to avoid gluten-containing products for other reasons.

Adding a bit of whipped cream on top dresses it up and adds more flavor with only 1 extra carb.

* Ingredients *

1 cup Chocolate Hood Calorie Countdown Dairy Beverage
2 teaspoons glucomannan powder
1/8 cup heavy whipping cream (optional)
1/2 teaspoon powdered erythritol (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Fiberfit Liquid (optional)
1/8 teaspoon vanilla (optional)

* Step 1 *

Chocolate Hood Milk Pour the Chocolate Hood Calorie Countdown Dairy Beverage into a small mixing bowl.

* Step 2 *

Add Glucomannan Powder Very gradually sprinkle the glucomannan powder into the chocolate milk while whisking briskly.

Continue whisking the mixture until the mousse thickens.

* Step 3 *

Low Carb Mousse You can eat the mousse out of the mixing bowl or transfer the mousse to a decorative serving dish for a pretty presentation.

To further enhance the presentation, follow the following steps to add a whipped cream topping.

* Step 4 *

Whip Cream Optional: Using an electric mixer or egg beaters, whip cream, erythritol, Fiberfit, and vanilla until stiff.

* Step 5 *

Added Cream Top the mousse with the whipped cream.

Not only is it prettier, it's yummier, too!

* Tips *

* This mousse is very filling, so it could easily make 2 servings.

* The entire recipe contains about 4 net carbs (5 with optional whipped cream).

* This can be eaten right away or chilled.

* Sprinkle the glucomannan powder very gradually to avoid lumps.
