Low Carb Garlic Herb Crackers Almond meal is a great addition to your healthy low carb ingredients list.

It's nutritious and versatile. It's also gluten-free.

These Low Carb Garlic Herb Crackers are a good example of the many ways you can use almond meal.

You'll find the recipe for these and a variety of other recipes using almond meal in the links below.

Almond meal and almond flour are frequently used interchangeably, though some almond flour is ground finer.  Either one works great in low carb recipes, though I prefer a coarser grind.

Almond meal has fiber and nutrients, but very few carbs, so it's great for diabetics and others who eat low carb.  Carb counts can vary, but it has about 1 to 3 net carbs per 1/4 cup.  Finer grinds tend to have more carbs.

Almond meal can't be subbed straight across for grain flours since it behaves differently, but it can be used to create delicious recipes.

I use it in recipes for things like cookies, cakes, and crackers as well as other types of recipes.

These Low Carb Breaded Chicken Fingers are breaded with an almond meal mixture. You can also use the breading for other foods.

This is the best low carb breading I've ever tasted!
