Eating a healthy low carb diet can be very simple and basic. It doesn't require special ingredients to be successful and enjoyable. It can also be creative.
That said, I love dreaming up recipes with special low carb ingredients! It gives me more variety and if I start getting tired of eating the same things, I dream up something new.
Sometimes I create a low carb version of an old favorite with special low carb ingredients that make it possible to enjoy a healthier version while scratching that itch. I also like to try out new (to me, anyway) low carb foods that appear on my radar from time to time.
In the links to your left, you'll find most of the low carb ingredients I like to use. The recipes I dream up are using ingredients I have tested on myself and found healthy for me.
But YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), so you should test them for yourself to make sure your body likes them, too. This testing can include weight, BGL, food sensitivities, taste buds, etc.
